Maybe you can add a little more rollings on your drums and some breaks in between.

At once I should warn, that I not the musician.
But I frequently listen (every second of my life) Italo Dance.
You should use another bass as minimum (Pitched Bass for Example). + Bass plays through an octave. In my opinion (for example С1-С2 etc). Good advice: listen any collection of modern Italo Dance and compare to your composition. Another is necessary for you is instrumentation (Other Samples)
I have "played" a small example of about i spoke: (Idea isn't mine)
simps0n_-_i_wanna_disco__roboter_edit.mp3
But it's only mine opinions.
It would be good (LET'S DREAM!) If somebody from our favorites: Dj Zulan, Randee, CYT, somebody (!) would give us a pair of "music creation" lessons
This file has been deleted for the following reason: too old
But you are right. It's good example
It sounds ok man, good stuff.
