Normal is a CDM release while 4 fans edition are CD-R's in a plastic sleeve.
So 4 fans edition is cheaper or ?
nop...the reason is simple...
maxi CD prints are print factory mass orders so a lot cheaper in production (per CD) but nowadays not working anymore cause you sell less copies and will never recoup the print costs...only makes sense with sponsor help etc.
4 Fans Editions are print in house on demand piece by piece with lightscribe etc. it's enormous work and very time consuming but a special service for fans to get releases which are normally only available as mp3 or on compilations on single CD too

Which is indeed a service we love VERY much! 
And lightscribe takes a hell of a time, why dont you just buy printable CD-R's or CD-stickers to glue on? Both faster and prettier I think
And couldn't you get the equipment to print CDM-covers?
Just a printer and some special paper I think, I dont know where to buy the covers though.
I have been searching for a place to buy CDM covers for ages, never found anyone selling them anywhere :/
It's quite annoying because lots of mine are broken..
Sounds good , what's the difference between normal and fans edition ?
