Eiffel 65 is now known as Bloom06

[/br][/br]Maurizio “Maury” Lobina and Gianfranco “Jeffrey” Randone have permanently hung their Eiffel 65 shoes to wear the “BLOOM 06” ones giving birth to a new musical reality that will departure with their first album called “Crash Test 01” to be released on the brand new record label Blue Boys and distributed by Universal Italy in Autumn 2006.

BLOOM 06: “ We are extremely proud of the path we’ve followed so far and we jealously preserve and cherish the memories, the goals achieved and the lessons we’ve learned but we needed a change, a rebirth, to explore new lands, to find news inputs and a different sound, some fresh air… In order to satisfy these needs we’ve chosen to wipe the blackboard clean and start form the basics:
where you work, the way you play and use new instruments and even changing the people you work with and compare to.
Things and people can change and stories (even the best ones unfortunately) have an ending… we must learn to accept this: it’s a normal part of everyone’s life.
What still remains the same are the intentions and motivations.
We always try to write songs with elaborated lyrics and melodies although they are mind capturing and communicative. This time we’ve courageously chosen a less immediate musical suite for the songs. Different from anything we’ve ever worn so far and different from anything we’ve heard around lately.
The motivation that keeps the spark alive is always the same: The thirst to write !
We have a thirst of communicating using our music, to give and receive new emotions, to enjoy and let enjoy again trying to surprise the listeners and ourselves.
Continuously writing and producing new music is an extremely thrilling and indispensable process for us.
We know that certain decisions could be a risk but it’s part of the nature of the job we’ve chosen. When we’re happy with what we build we can face any result, judgment and what ever comes up with inner peace.
