WELCOME TO THE NEW IDP!!!
We hope you like the new site! We are happy that it's finally up 
- and because of that we would like to celebrate it with a big BANG, and that's why we decided that the best way to do it, is to make a new IDP compilation!
...so on that occassion we begin the selection for the new IDP Compilation vol. 2! and thanks to the support from Italo Rumble Digital it's possible.
We hope you will send us your tracks! 
...we are waiting!
The rules are as following:
If you have an old italo/lento demo laying around on the pc - SEND IT!
or
If you have an idea for a brand new track specially for this compilation - MAKE IT!
But! it has to be 100% inedit, no samples or covers.
Accepted styles: Italodance / Lento Violento (SlowStyle) ...since IDP is an italo/lento site.
Send your demo to [email protected] - you can send all the demos you want 
(if your track is selected, we will need it in .WAV, but you are welcome to send your demo in .MP3)
Deadline: 1st of November 2012

BENVENUTI NEL NUOVO IDP!!!
Speriamo possa piacervi il nuovo sito! Siamo felici che sia finalmente attivo - con l'occasione di questo vogliamo celebrarlo con il botto,
e questo è il perché abbiamo deciso che fosse la strada migliore per farlo, è di fare una nuova IDP compilation!
...quindi in questa occasione iniziamo con la selezione per la nuova IDP Compilation vol. 2!
E grazie al supporto da parte di Italo Rumble Digital questo è possibile.
Speriamo possiate mandare le vostre tracce! ...stiamo aspettando!
Le regole sono le seguenti:
Se hai dei vecchi demo italo/lento conservati nel pc - MANDACELI!
o
Se hai un'idea per una nuova traccia esclusiva per questa compilation - FALLA!
Ma dovrà essere 100% inedita, senza samples o cover.
Generi accettati: Italodance / Lento Violento (Slowstyle) ... visto che IDP è un sito di musica italo/lento
Manda la tua demo a [email protected] - puoi mandare tutte le demo che vuoi
(Se la tua traccia viene selezionata, abbiamo bisogno di questa in formato .WAV, ma sei il benvenuto di mandare le tue demo in formato .MP3)

The rules say no samples - does that include vocal samples like we hear all the time in Lento?
The "law" allows reasonable use of small samples without permission, that's why we haven't seen any credit going to Public Enemy whose vocals have been sampled infinitely in Lento Violento.
My point is, if you do mean that it is not allowed to use such vocal samples, is that just to be sure not to get into any infringement?

We are reasonable people Mads, so use samples within reason too
The rules are there to support originality, not prohibit technicalities.

The main reason is that we don't want any legal problems
..so if it's oK to use small parts ..then no problem for us 
sooo good!
btw, what happened to the "whats new" button? i loved that one
it just changed name to "New / Updated posts"

Go to the forum overview, it's not in the main menu, only the forum sub-menu.

LOL relax man, we only just started evaluating demos. November 1st was the deadline for sending us demos, not the actual release date
