Riccardo Monti aka Liam started his career in 2001 as a member of Lab together with Aurelio "Jam" Rotelli, an italian dance project produced by one of the most popoular italian italian djs, Molella.
In 2004 the italian label Do It Yourself releases the single Lab "Stay This Time" a tipical italian dance song, with a small sample of "Run To Me" by Tracy Spencer, a smash hit of the 80's. For weeks the song remains in the Top 100 Dance Chart in Germany, the only italian record together with Benny Benassi and Gigi D'Agostino.
In the same time Liam realizes another project together with Aurelio "Jam" Rotelli and Giovanbattista Giorgilli mostly known by the name Vanni G, called Mardie. The debut of that project is the single "Sexy Witch", which recieve amazing respons in both Italy and France, where the song is regularly played on the radio and the dancefloor for months.
During the time of Lab, Liam produce many remixes and versions for some fashionable records.
The most important of these is a european style remix of the hit "Village Groove" by Molella, and the collaboration with Vanni G for the single "All My Illusions".
